Nanette Rose Fenton – Bio
Nanette Rose Fenton (maiden name Conigliaro) was born in Brooklyn, New York. She later married Craig W. Fenton, and together they had twin daughters, Tammy Ann and Heather Rose, born on September 11, 1971. The family eventually relocated to Florida, where Nanette attended the University of South Florida. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Education (K–12) and a second bachelor’s degree with honors from the College of Fine Arts, earning membership in the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society.
After receiving her teaching certification, Nanette taught 8th-grade mathematics as well as 11th- and 12th-grade chemistry and biology. Following her teaching career, she joined the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), where she earned certification from the Division of Criminal Investigation as a Criminal Intelligence Technician. Drawing on her combined experience in education and law enforcement, she authored the award-winning novel Deadly Lessons, available on Amazon.
In 2000, Nanette founded her own company, Face the Music, where she composed commercial jingles for television and radio, and produced original music and lyrics for a variety of creative projects. Her work expanded into screenwriting, novel writing, video production, documentary filmmaking, children’s book writing and illustration, and acting in several independent films and television commercials—an ongoing expression of her multifaceted creative talents.
In 2005, she incorporated her business under the new name Fenton Productions, LLC.
Throughout her career, Nanette has earned more than 20 awards for screenwriting, writing, producing, directing, documentary creation, and music composition across multiple genres.
She is also an accomplished visual and performing artist, skilled in piano, oil and acrylic painting, weaving, and sculpting in various mediums.
Nanette currently lives and works in the Tampa Bay area, in beautiful New Port Richey, Florida.
